Will I need a Passport?

Yes, you need a valid passport to travel to St. Barths. St. Barths is an overseas collectivity of France, and all international travelers (including U.S., Canadian, and E.U. citizens) must present a passport and a return or ongoing ticket to enter.

Do I need a rental car?

St. Barths does not have any ride sharing apps like Uber. Taxis are difficult and not easily available, worse at night.. We recommending renting a car. There are several companies that operate out of the small airport.

How far is the wedding ceremony to the wedding reception?

The ceremony is in the Anglican Church on the harbor in Gustavia. It's about a 12 minute drive to La Guérite in St. Jean where the reception will be held. They have valet at La Guérite for easy parking. We recommend stopping and changing clothes before lunch.

What is the weather like in May?

In May, St. Barts experiences warm, sunny weather with average highs around 86°F (30°C) and comfortable night lows near 78°F (25°C). Trade winds keep the high humidity feeling refreshing, and the ocean water is perfect for swimming at a warm 81°F.

What are our favorite restaurants?

Fine Dining: Bonito, Beef Bar, Le Cafe, L'Isola, Shellona, Bagatelle, La Petite Plage. Keep in mind that in St. Barths, people tend to dine much later than the US. IN some places, the restaurant will turn into a table top dancing club after 9:30 or so. Lunch: Le Select (Most casual), La Toiny Beach Bar.

What are our favorite beaches?

1. St. Jean Beach, 2. Shell Beach, 3. Gouverneur Beach, 4. Colombier Beach (about a 30 minute moderate hike to this one)
